Icelandic Sun

As I’m editing my photos from Iceland, it strikes me how different the color of everything is in this northern light through pollution free sky. The settings I can normally use as my base are simply not right for this light. This scene was shot on the Gígjökull glacier which drains North from Eyjafjallajökull in the southern portion of the island. The wind was so strong on the glacier that we had to turn back after only 15 minutes. This was the scene near the entrance to the hike.
