As I drove to Vasquez Rocks Natural Area, I hit a fog bank so thick I had to slow to a crawl. It was long before the sun would come up and I didn’t care whether the fog stuck around or cleared. I wanted the time alone in the park and I got it. There was not another soul in sight. The bonus was the balanced light. The fog acted as a natural diffuser, scattering the light in all directions. Here are a few photos from the morning.
