I drove to two different locations for the sunrise during my stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel last week. Once for a sunrise over downtown Banff,  and once for a view from the Vermillion Lakes Scenic drive. That’s 50% of my mornings in the Banff National Park for those counting. In truth, I could have simply walked out onto the large patio outside the main dining area and witnessed the sunrise from this glorious location every morning, with less effort. As you can see, it’s a very special place with a very special view. I was thankful for this brief show of color on our final morning. Life is good.
