I’m posting these photos because, for whatever reason, this was some of the most difficult light I’ve ever had to shoot and/or edit. I’m not even sure why. The sun draped a harsh orange red light over everything and trying to edit the photos was a nightmare. Nothing looked as I remembered as I looked out over Boise, Idaho from my perch near Table Rock.

And even after the sun dropped below the horizon, the light was strange. Staring at the resulting images as I type, I’m still not sure I have this right. So I’m posting what I think are not particularly great photos. I just want to remember the trial. Sometimes that’s important.
