Boise, Idaho is called the “City of Trees.” The origins of the name are debatable, but according to one story, “a French-speaking guide, overwhelmed by the sight of the verdant river, yelled “Les bois! Les bois!” (“The wood! The wood!”) — and the name stuck.” On this morning, the sunrise colored the sky and the fall leaves on the abundant trees painted the land. It was a glorious scene.
