A version of this photo was originally posted here in September of 2011. Often when I try to link back to an older photo, I find a heavily edited iPhone image. It’s not surprising. This blog started out as a way for me to share an image on the go. The posts were almost always generated directly from my phone and often after having fed the original iPhone image through some “popular” photo editing app at the time.

Yesterday, as I was in the midst of posting a series of images from my recent Australia trip, I wanted to link to a photo taken in Circular Quay, home of the Sydney Opera House. What I found didn’t please me. I decided to track down the original iPhone photo (see link in the first paragraph) and edit it the way I might today. This is better. 🙂
