I look at the network of power lines that stretch in multiple directions from the peaks of the hills in the Haskell Canyon Open Space and the thousands of homes nestled in the valleys outside its boundaries and can’t help but wonder what is taking us so long to harness the power constantly flowing down on us here in Southern California. So much wasted energy.
