When you’re given the opportunity to explore the beautiful State of West Virginia, you take it. On this day, the family was doing other things, so I just hopped in the car and chose two West Virginia State Parks I had never visited. I ended my afternoon at Watters Smith Memorial State Park, but I began the afternoon here at Audra State Park.

Audra State Park Panorama

The sun was obscured by clouds, so a neutral density filter and a bit of long exposure seemed like the right call for capturing this stretch of the Middle Fork River. This image is actually just a piece of a larger panorama.
