Rock City Trail, Coopers Rock, WV

The main draw at Coopers Rock State Forest is the “the rock” at the main vista, but you’d be missing so much if you didn’t roam around the numerous hiking trails that wind through the towering trees and outcrops. This is from the Rocky City trail, part of the main loop. I don’t post a lot of photos shot in portrait. In this case, there is no other way to show the depth. If you find yourself near Morgantown, WV, take a few hours and enjoy.
