sand fire architecture

Photos of architecture are rather rare here on this photo blog. My focus tends to be on nature, not on man-made objects. And I find that a little curious since I enjoy looking at other people’s photos of buildings quite a bit.

One of the people whose architecture photos I enjoy is Ines Hegedus Garcia at Miamism. As an architect herself, she just brings an interesting perspective to her photos. Some examples are here, here and here.

So, while walking at Venice Beach, as the smoke from the Sand Fire hung in the air near sunset, I tried to channel a little bit of her perspective. Or more correctly, this is my interpretation of what her perspective may have been. I’m sure she would have had a field day in this light.
