swimming hole - leavitt meadows campground

“Aaah, summer – that long anticipated stretch of lazy, lingering days, free of responsibility and rife with possibility. It’s a time to hunt for insects, master handstands, practice swimming strokes, conquer trees, explore nooks and crannies, and make new friends.” – Darell Hammond

This is the last of the few photos I took on our shortest of short visits to the Men & Boys Camping Trip at Leavitt Meadows Campground this year. I started my long anticipation for the next trip to this beautiful spot on the West Walker River as I drove away this year. It only grows as the days pass.
