I suppose I was thankful that the mornings were overcast during my trip to Boston this week. The days were packed with meetings and the nights were late and accompanied by way too much beer with the good friends I’m blessed to be able to work with. The lure of a beautiful Boston sunrise would have just meant more pain. The clouds finally cleared on Wednesday afternoon and I was able to take a short walk from our Airbnb on Charles street to this spot on the Charles River beside the Longfellow Bridge. So yes, I’m thankful the morning’s were overcast, but I’m equally thankful for this one, beautiful sunset moment that I choose to accepts as nature’s reward for a successful trip.
