Another small rain storm was fast approaching. I could see the rain falling in the distance from the top of Table Rock where I had just watched a beautiful sunset over the beautiful city of Boise. As I drove down the hill I could see that I would not have much time for a shot of The Idaho State Capitol Building. I couldn’t resist a blue hour photograph of its classic dome and the 5′ 7″ bronze eagle that sits perched on the top. I was able to fire off just a handful of shots before the camera needed to be protected under my jacket as I  raced back to the car. It was worth it.
