My two youngest sons, 13-14 and 15-16 division, are both running in the USATF Region 15 Junior Olympic Championships this weekend. The first day of competition included the race walkers and one running event, the 400M prelims. My youngest son won his heat and advanced to the 400M finals today. And as the last races were beginning to start, the sunset was in full bloom behind the stands. When my two favorite things combine, I’m a happy boy.
