We had just driven from Green River, Utah and I had the boys settled into our room in Breckenridge, Colorado. They had their instructions for getting in a light workout and I was hyper-focused on just getting in a quick hike. It’s not that I couldn’t see how beautiful my surroundings were, I could. I was simply more concerned with other things and I left the room without my Sony a7r ii. I was at the start of the trail before it hit me, so I decided to just make a video of the hike. It wasn’t until I reached this meadow about a mile into the trail that I truly missed my camera. I shot these photos in RAW inside of the Adobe Lightroom Lightroom app on my iPhone. This gave me the ability to edit them the way I like to on my desktop.

I shot these photos in RAW inside of the Adobe Lightroom Lightroom app on my iPhone. This gave me the ability to edit them the way I like to on my desktop. I’m pleased with how they turned out,  but I can say with some degree of certainty, these would have been amazing shots if the Sony had been in my hands. Oh well. Live and learn. 🙂 Here’s the video from the hike.
