The only goal was to try and capture a sunrise at The Alamo. I had noticed the San Antonio Tricentennial signs all over town but gave no real thought to them. As I approached the Alamo I could see some TV cameras and a small crowd gathered. I had no idea that I had chosen the morning of the 182nd Anniversary of the Battle of The Alamo and the Tricentennial “Dawn At The Alamo” celebration being put on by the San Antonio Living History Association. It was a nice surprise. I’m thankful I was up to witness it.
