In the wild, lizards are really hard to photograph. My photographer friends would tell me I need a longer lens. My longest lens in “only” 240mm, so I have to get a bit closer for a shot like the one above than the pros who are using a 400mm lens to get their nature shots. The first shot below is not atypical for me. I point and shoot and by the time I can correct focus, the lizard has scurried away. I think the lizards are worth the effort.
