Palm Trees In The Dark

I decided to give myself a creative constraint while taking a walk in the dark. The constraint was that I couldn’t use a tripod. It’s hard to get a high-quality shot in the dark without a tripod. So it forced me to look for other ways to hold my camera still for the appropriate amount of time. In this case, laying it flat on top of a cinderblock wall and pointing the lens straight up at these palm trees lit by a spotlight. It is not the most creative shot I’ve ever taken, but I enjoyed the process.
