Today is her final day at Saugus High School. Next week Maria will walk with her classmates at graduation ceremonies, but today she will laugh and cry and reminisce and, hopefully, soak up the moment. It’s not been a smooth ride, for reasons far outside her control. It really does seem like yesterday you were smiling for the camera on your first day of Kindergarten (below). So much lies ahead for you, Maria. We love you.
