Father's Day Hike

Getting up at 4:15am to make it to the start of a trail that winds 4 miles uphill… just to catch a sunrise may not sound like the perfect Father’s day morning to most people, but it sure does to me. So, that’s what I did. I’ll gladly do it again, though I’ll have to start a bit earlier to insure I get to the top in time for that glorious twilight light at the top. I missed it by just minutes. I couldn’t resist stopping to take photos along the way up the hill. 🙂
