The first Playa Del Carmen Sunrise of our family vacation was the best sunrise of the trip. Frankly, it was the only sunrise I captured. I decided to leave my Sony A1 at home and resist the temptation to spend time in front of my computer editing images. It was a great decision. I barely cracked open my computer for the entire seven days. These photos were taken on an iPhone 13 Pro in RAW mode and edited after we got home last night. Am I disappointed in the quality? Yes. There is simply no comparison. But I’m not disappointed in the quality of my time with the family. The only thing that could have made it better was if Samara and her new husband could have been with us.
