We reached the peak of the trail just as the sun hid behind the rocks at Vasquez Rocks Nature Park. The entry point to this path is from a private road that is cautiously monitored by residents. I suppose one day I’m going to get in trouble for using it, but it’s hard to pass up the easy access to such a beautiful vista.
