Maybe it’s the association with stoplights that causes me to slow down, the stop whenever the sun is rising or setting. A red sky will flat out stop me in my tracks. I find myself transfixed, yellow will cause me to slow down and eventually stop. If there’s a hint that the sky is going to burst with any color, I want to be there to witness it, to photograph it, to capture it. I’ve called it a sickness in the past. I’m thinking it’s more of a blessing.
