It’s no mystery why this beach is called Secret Cove. It’s not particularly easy to find, on the remote Eastern Shore of Lake Tahoe, and there are no amenities or facilities. And while the trails are clear from the road down to this ridiculously beautiful piece of nature, you may want to find a different route than the one we took from Highway 28. The way back to the highway is more than just a bit steep.
Regardless of which route you choose, the view is worth the effort. Wow.
