There was a time when shooting the sunset through our balcony window was a normal occurrence. Those were usually time-lapse videos. They allowed me to be with family and set up the iPhone on the window sill to capture the movement of sun and clouds. But I missed the “actual” experience. These days I prefer my sunrises and sunset live and in high resolution. I’ve taken some bad sunset photos framed by that window on this photographic journey. On Sunday night, after a three-day track meet and a morning at Orange County WordCamp, I was simply too tired to even go out into the front yard. Not even these beautiful crepuscular rays could get me outside. And while I’m sure the culmination of this sunset progression was spectacular, I missed it the big show. This is all I could muster. 🙂
