I miss fall. Growing up in the midwest, fall was my favorite season.as I walked around the campus of Boise State University last weekend, I had a chance, for the first time in many years, to just take in the colors. I had dropped my 16-year-old son off at his older brother’s dorm after breakfast so I enjoyed several hours in the colors all to myself.

The campus is simply beautiful in general, but on this crisp, gray fall day, it was particularly so. As I walked around, I remembered days like that in Beavercreek, Ohio, raking leaves, playing football with friends, the beauty that always surrounded my birthday, today. As I edited the photos this morning, the memories came flooding back in. I miss the fall.
