I imagine my face in this moment looked very much like the face of this little girl in the photo above. We stumbled onto Praça D. Pedro IV (Square Pedro IV) as we were walking around the city after breakfast. The square, like the sidewalks all over Lisbon, is a wonderful black and white tile design that stands in stark contrast to the colorful buildings of the city’s side streets. And this man blowing bubbles on a perfect November day was simply bringing joy to this beautiful location. This is a wonderful memory.
