The 4×400 relay. It’s the last meet of most track meets, and as you can see from the stands here at the Simi Valley Invitational, the casual track fans have left. What remains are the track geeks, and the athletes who typically run back and forth on the field to cheer on the runners. For the track fanatic, the 4×400 race is the most exciting of the races. It’s certainly true for me.
