As you can probably imagine, the humans in my house don’t have to worry that much about photos being captured at family events. That’s my job and my joy. As a result, there aren’t a lot of “quality” photos of me in our archive. It’s my fault. And it doesn’t bother me.

So this week at a track meet, when my 13-year-old daughter asked if she could use my Sony a7rii to take my photo, I double checked the settings and handed her the gear. She was thrilled and I’m sure I should let her do it more often.

I guess this is what I look like when I’m staring at someone I love. Thank you, Little Miss S.
