Holiday sunrises are “my thing.” It may be a bit unusual, but I look forward to rising early on a holiday morning, not sleeping in. There are no carpools to worry about getting back to, no rush to a morning conference call. I can linger in my chosen location longer than normal and capture the early morning light. For example, the shot above was taken a little more than an hour after the actual sunrise, and it’s my favorite shot of the day. Life is good.
