Landon Helms set a new USATF Hershey’s Junior Olympics National Championship meet record by clearing 4.91m (16’1.3”) in the 15-16 Boys pole vault event at Hornet Stadium. It places him in good company. The record was previously held by Mondo Duplantis, who won the gold medal at the 2018 European Championships with a height of 6.05 meters, the current under-20s world record.
