I chose the wrong location for this sunrise. Allow me to just admit that right upfront. I was trying to get a different perspective from the photos I had taken on a previous trip. On that visit, I was closer to the Ferry Building. At Pier 30, there was a good deal available to obscure this rare, at least for me, fog-free San Francisco sunrise. So, I had to be a bit creative with the shots.
