Playing Cards & Chips

Would we all be playing this much poker were it not for the lockdown imposed by COVID-19? Of course not. That said, in the time since we played our first game of Texas Holdem on March 29, we have had Turner Family Pizza & Poker Nights so often that it’s now a family tradition. I love it. The kids keep getting better and better. And even if Micah still thinks it’s all about luck, she’s a much more confident player today than she was when she reluctantly joined her first game three months ago. They are all more confident. I consider that a win, even when I lose. Which is happening more often than it did at the beginning. 🙂

Micah Playing Poker
Micah seems to enjoy this more and more each time she plays.

Tonight’s winner, Noah.
Zach Playing Poker
Zach looks like someone who has lost their chip lead, because he had. 🙂
