I know the photo above doesn’t look like much. It’s certainly not the most impressive night sky photo you’ve ever seen. It was taken from my backyard patio amidst a ton of ambient light. To me, however, this looks like progress. I have struggled over the years to get a crisp night sky photograph. My settings have been wrong, my process has been wrong. I will explain the process in more detail once I have a great night sky photo to show here, but I’m confident that the new process is going to get the results I have always hoped for.
