It had been a long time since we took a trip of any kind, so when our neighbors, Phil and Ericka, asked us to go to Paso Robles for some wine tasting, we jumped at the chance. We started the afternoon at Austin Hope Winery, which was amazingly configured for social distancing. We then got a golden hour visit to Eberle Winery. The view over the vineyards toward the setting sun was perfect. Phil saw a deer standing in the vineyard and I hopped up to try to capture it in a majestic stance, but it darted. It was a beautiful 6-point buck. Look closely above and you can catch a glimpse too. And that was just Friday. 🙂
