On this morning, five years ago, I was in Louisville, Kentucky speaking to the leadership of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS®. I was in the early throes of trying to figure out camera settings and how to shoot a decent long exposure photograph, a journey I am now convinced will never really end.

Jeff this pic is so dope!!!!
The fact that the journey will never end is one of the reasons I love photography. Learning about the equipment, settings, software, etc., is by itself never-ending because they all keep changing and improving. But discovering my artistic expression through photography is an even greater fascinating, never-ending journey because I personally keep changing and (hopefully) improving. There are so many avenues that I can learn from, the mind boggles. Your photos are always a source of inspiration. I am really enjoying the journey and will continue to learn until I take my last breath.
I don’t think you can fully understand how much this comment speaks to me. Perhaps you can. I feel exactly as you do about this. Until I die, I will explore the boundaries of creativity this medium provides. Having you along on this journey means the world to me, Don.
Thank you, Mark! Hope you are well!
