This is the view from the front porch of Lake Elowin Cabin No. 9. Granted, I used a long lens, but you get the point. If you’re into rustic, this might be the place for you. The cabins at the Lake Elowin “resort” were built as temporary lodging for forestry workers at the turn of the (last) century, shortly after the founding of Sequoia National Park. I doubt it’s changed much in those 100 years. There are no TVs or phones in the rooms. It’s a guaranteed cure for what ails you.
