I’m happy to report that Zachariah Turner is back in action in the 400M for Saugus High School. Yesterday’s meet against Valencia was his first time in a competition in more than a year. He received the baton for his leg of the 400M relay trailing the lead runner by more than 30 meters and the second-place runner by more than 15 meters. By the 200 meter mark, he had erased the distance and passed both runners on the entry to the curve. It was as if he had never left the track. And it made this track-starved dad smile pretty wide. 🙂
