The sun sets on the high school careers of Zachariah Turner (far right) and Brandon Cruz Jr. (next to him). Last night was their final speed workout on the Saugus High School track before their final high school meet. They will compete with their 400M relay team at the 2021 California State Championships invitational this weekend. Without question, they are the two fastest 400M runners Saugus has ever produced. Both will continue running at the collegiate level, with Brandon headed to Cal Poly Pomona and Zachariah headed to Minnesota State. It’s been fun to watch them both. They will be missed.
