I couldn’t decide which composite of Yvette Harris in flight I liked better; the black and white of the even frames above or the color version of the odd frames below. So, I’m posting them both. I’m now capturing more than twice as many frames per second with the Sony A1 as I used to with the Sony A7rii. That means on some occasions I’m going to be able to create two versions of the same jump. Yvette is great in the air, so she makes a fabulous subject for one of these composites. Her cousin, Malcolm Clemons, was pretty darn good in the air too. 🙂
These were taken at yesterday’s Simi Valley All-Comers Meet and this was by far Yvette’s longest jump of the day. However, as you can see, it was a foul. She qualified for the Winter Championships with a win in the 60M Hurdles and just missed qualifying in the long jump and 150M dash.
