If you happened to be in attendance at the 2022 CIF-SS Masters Meet, then you were treated with the opportunity to witness Rodrick Pleasant run 100M in a wind-legal 10.14 seconds. Pleasant’s time was a new California state record, and as Rich Gonzalez pointed out on Twitter, it was also the 2nd fastest time ever run by a 17-year-old. It was just .01 off the U18 World Record! And as you can see from the photo above, I had a very unique perspective on this race.
This beautiful day was filled with stellar performances. As always, it was a joy to be able to capture some images of these amazing athletes. There are a few highlighted below, and you will also be able to see an additional 116 photos at PrepCalTrack shortly! But wait, there’s more… You can find the complete album of 786 images here: 2022 CIF-SS Masters. Remember, 100% of all profits from photo sales will be donated to local youth track and field programs!

Your photos are truly spectacular! My daughter Madison pole vaulted in the masters last year. I don’t see a photo of her but hope you’ll be there again this year!!! Also, are you for hire?
Dana, thank you and congrats to your daughter, Madison. I don’t really “charge” for my photography. Any money I make gets donated to local youth track and field programs. If you’d like to discuss how you can donate and “hire” me, I’d be happy to see if we can arrange something. 🙂
