We didn’t set out to spend time at “Piedras Blancas.” Our goal was to ride the Teleférico Cerro Otto and then hike the two hours it might take to get back down to town. However, the cable cars were closed on Sunday. So I drove our group of four up Accesso Cerro Otto until it wasn’t wise to drive any further. We ended up taking in the beauty on the “white rocks” above the fog that covered all of San Carlos de Bariloche. And it was perfect. This place is otherwordly.
