This is Sammie. Like other cats, Sammie doesn’t give a crap what you think of her. Dogs care. In fact, dogs will do anything for a belly rub or a pat on the head. Meanwhile, cats have an “I don’t give a purr” attitude and only seek your attention when they feel like it. If then.
Sammie left whatever space I entered and never concerned herself with the strange person in her owner’s home. It took all 240mm of the zoom lens to get this shot. Phil Kells and the rest of his beautiful family seem to really love this creature. So I chose to love it too, regardless of her attitude. And I endeavored to capture a portrait that reflected her personality. This one does the trick.
