Winter track practice

A winter track practice in Southern California is typically pretty beautiful. We only really get rain in the “winter,” so it can be wet on occasion, but most days are sunny and in the mid-60s or low 70s by the time practice starts. They can, however, get pretty chilly as the sunset arrives. And that’s the best part. I don’t get to many practices, but when I do, the early sunset presents great photo opportunities. This is my favorite shot from a practice session ahead of the first Simi Valley Winter Championships Qualifier. at Alemany High School last week.
