Patience and the zen of bee photography

Patience is the name of the game in bee photography. I wait in my front yard, crouched down, camera poised, waiting for that perfect moment. You learn to anticipate the bee’s flight paths, to move in harmony with their buzzing dance. It’s a meditation in motion – breathe slowly, pivot gently, and click at just the right instant. Sometimes you miss it, and sometimes you nail it. But in those fleeting seconds when everything aligns – the light, the focus, the bee’s graceful hover – it’s pure magic.
