I tried NOT to take a photo of the sunset in Buenos Aires last night. It had rained most of the day, and it was still drizzling over Palermo Hollywood when the sun went down. Yesterday I said, “I bet that this view looks good even when it’s pouring.” It wasn’t pouring, but I decided to walk from our place on the 4th floor to the rooftop deck on the 21st floor.
As I emerged from the staircase, the gray world I saw looking East from the 4th floor (see the last photo here) was transformed into another incredible sunset vista. I had missed the setting, not the show. I’m still waiting for a lousy sunset here. I hope it never comes.
