The Sunrise In Bariloche I Dream About

I dreamt about a sunrise in Bariloche like this one—a dramatic sunrise that reveals itself slowly and then hits you with light and shadows you hope you’ve prepared yourself to capture. Not a sunrise that blasts you with vibrant reds and purples but a sunrise that challenges you to capture its nuance. As it moved from dark and brooding to “holy crap look at this,” I couldn’t help but wonder if I could do it justice. Frankly, no photo can compare to my feelings in these moments. I was giddy.

The Sunrise In Bariloche I Dream About

When I arrived at Punto Panorámico – Circuito Chico, I could tell it would be unique. The color was beginning to hit the edges of the clouds very subtly. It was spectacular. The bonus is that I was all alone. This is the most famous vista in the region, and it was empty except for my camera and me. The photos below are in chronological sequence. Here’s hoping you can feel how it unfolded.

Now, I’m dreaming of another sunrise in Bariloche, and I’d be just fine if it were exactly like this one.

    1. I think you found a perfect place and a nearly perfect sunrise this time. I can see it as a watercolor by an impressionist artist. Thanks for sharing .
