Hawks Battling Above Mt. SAC

I heard the noise before seeing the Hawks battling above the Mt. SAC Invitational races. I have a habit of capturing birds between races at track meets. Usually, those birds are seagulls. And I was not in that mindset before shooting the image above. I heard these beautiful birds screaming and looked up, pulling the camera lens with me. This is what you might call a lucky shot. They were above the track for only a few seconds. I am so happy I got to see and capture this chase moment.
