
It’s been a while since I’ve photographed a Santa Clarita sunset. So last night we hopped on our electric kick scooters and bicycles, and Rocky, Isaiah, and I meandered around the neighborhoods looking for a new spot to take in the beauty. We settled on a location (shown above) not far from the house, above Saugus High School. Then, as we worked our way home, I took a few shots at a couple of more familiar locations looking out over Santa Clarita.

I like the scene with pastel colors best. So different from the fiery ones, which have a beauty of their own and were more what I expected.
I agree. I often turn around, particularly if I’m on the top of a hill, to see the other side of the sunset or sunrise. That’s where the pastels live, typically. 🙂
