I tend to haunt the same locations for my sunrise and sunset photos. I enjoy it, but it does get a bit monotonous sometimes. This morning I decided to go to a spot I don’t go to very often to see what I could come up with. The tiny patch of clouds right above the rising sun took on that beautiful pre-dawn red glow and created a classic mountain silhouette. This time of year, this is not a bad spot for a sunrise in Santa Clarita. And it’s less than 800 meters from my house. Bonus.
